A veteran of the Washington DC music scene, Diana Quinn fronts several award-winning bands, plays several instruments, and has written and produced many award-winning songs. Her bands and albums are multiple WAMMIE award-winners, including Album of the Year, song of the year, and top vocalist in several categories. Diana is a founding member of the legendary local punk band Tru Fax & the Insaniacs, which is about to release several new recordings and was featured in the new documentary, “Punk the Capital. She is also a founding member of the alt/ retro country band Honky Tonk Confidential (HTC) and the 60s girl group tribute band The Fabulettes. She writes songs with legendary CBS newsman Bob Schieffer, who occasionally sings with HTC. Her bands have performed on a myriad of stages, from the Kennedy Center to the Grand Ole Opry, CBGB to the Waldorf Astoria, and Sylvan Theater to the Kennedy Center. Her bands have been featured on network television (including CBS, NBC, CNN) and other national media (including The New York Times, Washington Post, and The Washingtonian).
