Samantha Whetstone started her music education at the age of 2 and learned how to read music before learning how to read books. She was a finalist by the age of 11 in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Piano Competition. Her initial instruction started through various Philadelphia Orchestra concert pianists at the Conservatory of Music in Doylestown and Newtown, and continued with years through Juilliard School of Music instructors, completing all advanced piano levels at Westminster College of the Arts by the 1st semester of her freshman year. She has helped produce and organize various special events such as fundraisers, school holiday concert productions, musicals, weddings and other special events. She and her students have performed for numerous residency communities and in 2013, she directed the academy at a Children’s Miracle Network (CHOP) Silent Auction and Masquerade Ball.
Samantha has performed piano, as well as vocals, at well-known venues such as Carnegie Hall, Princeton University Chapel, The Academy of Music at the Kimmel Center, St. Peter’s Cathedral, the National Cathedral in Washington DC, along with many others. She was a member in the Bucks County Choral Society and has participated in County and District Choral Productions of Bucks County, travelled with all competing Central Bucks Chamber Choirs, Women’s Ensembles and String Ensemble/Orchestras, Toronto Blue Jays Baseball games, NBC10 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parades and Chapel Choir, Schola Cantorum and Symphonic Choir at Westminster College of the Arts.
